There is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Satan is real and roams the earth seeking whom he may devour. Satan comes to steal kill and destroy but God has come through His Son Jesus to give us life and to give it to us more abundantly. God so loved the world He sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ, who was God made flesh, and while He was tempted like man, He never sinned, and so He became the perfect and final sacrifice needed for the atonement of our sins. Jesus willingly suffered and died a brutal death on the cross at Calvary and after three days in the tomb was resurrected from the dead, Spirit, soul, and body, conquering death and hell, and in doing so made a way for us to be restored and in direct communication with God our Heavenly Father. Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life, no one can come unto the Father but by Him. Salvation was accomplished by Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. We must realize we are a sinful being and in need of salvation to be restored to a right standing with God. For by grace we are saved through faith and that not of ourselves it is a gift of God, not of works lest anyone could boast. If we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raise Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. When we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Salvation occurs when true repentance, a turning away from sin, occurs and one starts to bear the fruit of that decision. It is not and cannot be fire insurance. We must become disciples, followers of Jesus both in our words and our deeds. Jesus ascended to the Father and now sits at His right hand making intercession for us. Upon His return to the Father, He sent the promise, the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to lead us and guide us into all truth. When we study the scriptures to show ourselves approved of God, we do not need to be ashamed, because we are able to rightly divide the Word of Truth. We believe the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God and that it was written by human men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and all scripture is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and for instruction in righteousness, for this life, so that we may be ready for the eternal life to come. One day soon, Jesus will return to gather up His followers, His Bride, so that we may be with God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit, the triune God head, for all eternity.
